A reminder to all students using the gym at lunchtime that you must be changed and have a clean, indoor pair of shoes. If students continue to not follow these expectations, the gym will not be available at lunchtime.
All spring sport athletes need to have permission forms into Ms. Lindsay prior to Wednesday (or their first game if that comes first).
We are still missing a number of hockey jerseys from the tournament. Please return these to Ms. Lindsay as well.
A decision will be made by lunchtime on the AAA women’s rugby scrimmage at Bluefield today.

Tomorrow is Red Dress Day, observed annually on May 5th in Canada. It is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two Spirited People. (MMIWG2S) Inspired by artist Jaime Black’s REDress Project, Red Dress Day features red dresses in public spaces to symbolize the thousands of missing/murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirited People. Please wear red tomorrow to honour their spirits and confront systemic violence.

The Diversity Appreciation Club is hosting Colonel Gray’s first ever Culture Day on
Wednesday. Dress in traditional clothing, or something that represents your background, to show your spirit. Then join us for trivia in the cafeteria during lunch.

A new important change has been made to the PEI Mutual Insurance Scholarships. Grads now apply using the Community Foundation of PEI portal, with deadline of this Sunday, May 10th. There will be three recipients from Colonel Gray High School.
Students, who might be looking for summer work jobs, can check the Delta Hotel poster on the job bulletin board in Student Services for various positions and a QR code link. Also the STEAM PEI summer camp job positions are on the same bulletin board.
Students interested in applying to join the Premier’s Youth Council can check the QR code on the poster in Student Services, with deadline of May 30th.
